Cardama Shipyard
Shipyards
Cardama Shipyard, founded in 1916 by Francisco Cardama Godoy, has a long experience in shipbuilding and ship repair. It was initially dedicated to wooden ships and paint manufacturing, but in the 1960s it was converted to dry-docking and repairing steel ships, mainly fishing vessels.
It is currently one of the most prolific shipbuilders in Spain, with outstanding experience in international projects. It has delivered ships to countries such as Angola, Iraq, Morocco, Iceland, the United Kingdom, Algeria, Benin, Ecuador and Venezuela, enabling it to compete with the world's major shipyards and contribute to the international recognition of the Spanish shipbuilding sector.
Cardama Shipyard has adapted to market demands by investing in upgrading and innovation of machinery and constant technological surveillance to detect international developments in machinery and processes.
