State of the art report on technologies related to the digital twin now available

After months of work and collaboration, we are pleased to share that the Informe de Análisis de vigilancia tecnológica y Estado del arte de tecnologías relacionadas con el gemelo digital.

This report is a crucial component of our TWIN NAVAUX project, co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal Programme POCTEP 2021 – 2027, aimed at promoting the use of Digital Twins in the Auxiliary Naval Industry of Galicia and Northern Portugal.

Tiene como objetivo establecer la base tecnológica y condiciones de formación del personal necesario para facilitar la implantación masiva de gemelos digitales de producto, tanto en el sector naval como en otros sectores productivos de la Eurorregión.

Project working plan

In order to achieve this objective the following activities are being developed:

A.1. Identification of the precise technological capacitiesfor development of the Digital Twin in the auxiliary naval sector.
A.2. Training for the sector in transition to a Digital Twin model.
A.3. Road map for implementation of the Digital Twin in auxiliary companies of the naval sector.
A.4. Design and start of Digital Twins of production in auxiliary naval companies.

Project financing

The TWIN NAVAUX project has a budget of €1,386,666.38, of which €1,039,999.79 is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), with the remaining amount contributed by the consortium partners.

Project duration

Project starts on September 2023 and ends on December 2025.
