DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES

It is one of the most active comitees of the last years. Among other things it decides:

– Destinations of Fairs and Commercial Missions to which the Cluster and associate companies attend to under financial aids for Internationalisation from Xunta de Galicia.

– Contracting alltogether the stands and promotional material.

In the years 2017-2018, ACLUNAGA participated in 16 trade missions; in 2018-2019, in 19. For the years 2019-2020, 19 international activities are scheduled to destinations such as the United States, Russia, China, Australia, Japan, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Turkey, Norway, the United Kingdom, Germany, etc.

FREIRE SHIPYARD

DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES

The latest financial committee of ACLUNAGA was composed of banking entities such as ABANCAMAR, CAIXABANK, and SABADELL. The main focus was on exploring alternative financing instruments and avenues for both the shipyards and the auxiliary industry.

The search for new financial methods for shipbuilding and the analysis of successful group tools will shape the future of this committee, which will soon be working to find solutions that benefit the entire Galician industry.

HUMAN RESOURCES AND TRAINING COMITTEE

DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES

The Human Resources and Training Committee has been responsible for preparing the technical proposals submitted to IGAPE for the development of a Training Plan that meets the needs of the Shipbuilding and Repair Sector in Galicia.

Additionally, the training courses provided by ACLUNAGA incorporate the Committee's proposals and are tailored to the realities of the sector, offering a pragmatic response to the demands of the member companies.

DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES

Some of the topics addressed by this committee include: management systems; calculation and design systems; information exchange systems; the creation of seminars and specific technical training; keeping track of emerging regulatory changes; selecting various technical visits and trips, and also defining professional profiles aligned with the needs of the companies.

In this regard, collaboration with technological centres that are members of ACLUNAGA, as well as with other clusters, has also been identified as beneficial for expanding the resources available to member companies. This will enable the execution and consultation of more complex and less routine studies.
