Industrias magazine, founded in 1927, has documented the history of fishing and has been an active player in the evolution of the sector. It has promoted the adoption of diesel engines, freezing on board and Greenland halibut fishing, as well as organising four editions of the World Fishing Exhibition in Vigo. Born as an organ of the General Association of Fishing Industries and their Derivatives, it has defended the interests of the sector for nine decades, including communication with public administrations and the dissemination of scientific and technological advances.
