The Twin NavAux project\u2019<\/strong>, the event aimed to bring participants closer to real cases of Digital Twin development and to offer an updated view on the progress of the three pilots that the Twin NavAux project is implementing for manufacturing companies in the Euroregion Galicia - North of Portugal.<\/p><p>The event was attended by the Twin NavAux project partners:<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"http:\/\/gain.xunta.gal\/?locale=es_ES\">Axencia Galega de Innovaci\u00f3n (GAIN)<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/aclunaga.es\/en\/\">Asociaci\u00f3n Cl\u00faster del Naval Gallego (ACLUNAGA)<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.udc.es\/en\/\">Universidade da Coru\u00f1a (UDC)<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catim.pt\/en\">CATIM \u2013 Centro de Apoio Tecnol\u00f3gico \u00e0 Ind\u00fastria Metalomec\u00e2nica<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upt.pt\/en\/home\/\">Universidade Portucalense<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibercisa.es\/?\/=\/lang\/en\">Ibercisa Deck Machinery<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ferri-sa.es\/en\/\">Industrias Ferri<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/electrorayma.com\/index.php\/en\/home\/\">ElectroRayma<\/a><\/li><\/ul><p>In addition, representatives of various companies and industrial and educational entities from Spain and Portugal attended.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Metaverse and virtual twin pilots<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">After the initial presentation of the Twin NavAux project, the Porto-based company <a href=\"https:\/\/infinitefoundry.com\/\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Infinite Foundry<\/strong><\/a> shared its experience in the field of Digital Twins.<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">Specialising in simulation and optimisation of industrial processes, <strong>Infinite Foundry<\/strong> highlighted how solutions based on Digital Twins and virtual simulators enable companies to reduce costs, increase productivity and improve decision-making. Among its innovations is the development of Digital Twins in the metaverse, a line of work that is also part of the Twin NavAux project.<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">Research staff from the <strong>Universidade Portucalense<\/strong> and the <strong>Universidade da Coru\u00f1a<\/strong> then presented the advances in the virtual twin pilots developed for the companies <strong>Ibercisa<\/strong>,<strong> Ferri<\/strong> and <strong>ElectroRayma<\/strong>. These pilots, in different stages of development, are expected to be completed by the end of 2025.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Twin NavAux Project<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">Co-financed 75% by the European Union through the <strong>Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal POCTEP 2021 - 2027 Programme<\/strong>, the Twin NavAux project works to establish the technological and training conditions necessary to facilitate the general implementation of digital twin product models in the naval auxiliary sector to optimise profitability and operational efficiency in industrial companies.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-69e3921f
